And just like that, we reached the final day of The Fresh Life 2024. The day started with an energising yoga session on the wellness deck, to prepare the mind and body for a busy day ahead!
Together in The Fresh Lounge, a highly anticipated discussion with the Hembrow sisters kicked off. Amy & Emilee Hembrow, founders of SSKIN, shared their journey of starting the clinic. The sisters discussed the significance of company culture, maintaining a collaborative work environment, and the strategic use of social media. They also addressed balancing business and family life, the impact of industry regulations, and their focus on holistic wellness and natural treatments.
Over at The Wellness Deck, meditation coach Courtney Rodgers let her infamous session - Elevating Your Essence. This was the perfect chance for guests to take a moment to themselves, and reflect on the conference so far.
Next up was Rochelle Akhavan, who presented a deep dive on Creating a Signature for Your Clinic. She emphasised the importance of standing out in today's market, leveraging unique strengths, and shaping reputation and strategy. AI tools like chatbots and video AI were recommended to enhance client engagement and Rochelle shared metrics that showed that adding a bespoke skincare range could significantly boost revenue, with potential increases of $107,000 to $311,000 annually.
After breaking for a delicious morning tea, attendees had the option to join a second meditation session by Courtney or head to The Fresh Lounge to hear from Babak Moini and The Johns. Being one of the only times Babak had brought his wisdom to the stage, the conversation was centred around the founding of Laser Clinics Australia to make treatments affordable and accessible. Bobak shared insights on understanding business fundamentals and adapting to industry shifts, especially amidst today’s economic and regulatory challenges in cosmetics.
After Babak's inspiring chat, we were joined by the first cohort of the Fresh Clinics Growth Accelerator Program, and the impact the first round had on business owners. Participants shared their experiences, such as new and improved consultation processes and smart sampling strategies. The session concluded with an invitation to join the next Growth Accelerator program waitlist.
The excitement continued in The Fresh Lounge, as we heard from the Fresh Clinics Product Team - Mitch, Luka, and James. They showcased the exciting future of what's to come with Fresh Clinics, such as an integrated point-of-sale and a digital treatment planner to simplify patient journeys and go paperless.
Just before lunch, Chiza Westcarr, Agnes Dube, Dr Stephen Lowe, and Douaa Al Hamad held a diversity panel. The panel discussed the importance of cultural sensitivity in healthcare, particularly in cosmetic treatments. Dr Stephen spoke to his diverse patient base in Sydney, including Asian and transgender patients. Agnes and Chiza shared their experiences with African and Southeast Asian patients and emphasised the need for diverse representation in promotional materials and education on treating patients from different backgrounds.
The final two sessions of the day were an engaging Q&A with Dr Felix Li, followed by a wrap-up by The Johns. Dr Li spoke about the evolution of patient expectations, noting that patients are now more informed and discerning, and The Johns gave a glimpse into the future of the industry, and what's next for Fresh Clinics.
Throughout the day our Fresh Life treatment & training rooms were also packed with nurses, keen to learn from the best in aesthetics.
The Fresh Life 2024 wouldn't be complete without our incredible Finale Party. This year, the Woodlands Stage was converted into a spooky dome, complete with tarot card readers and spine-tingling music. Everyone brought their A-game in Halloween costumes as we celebrated an incredible week and danced the night away!
Don't miss a beat! Stay up to date on all things Fresh Life.
