Meet Samantha, or Sam as she’s affectionately known - the inspiring Founder and Owner of Antidote Cosmetic Studio in Melbourne.
Sam’s career began over 10 years ago in anesthetics, recovery, and medical-surgical nursing. Her experience in these high-pressure environments provided her with the perfect foundation to enter the world of aesthetics in 2017.
Her love for helping others look and feel their best led her to pursue cosmetic treatments and open her own business.
“I’ve been nursing for 10 years now,” Sam says. “I started cosmetics in 2017, and eventually, I started my own business.”
In 2020, Sam founded Antidote Cosmetic Studio, a space dedicated to helping clients achieve a natural, refreshed appearance - like they’ve just returned from a relaxing holiday. Her philosophy is centred around enhancing her clients’ natural beauty rather than drastically changing their appearance.
At Antidote, Sam tailors each treatment to the individual, focusing on subtle yet effective approaches to anti-wrinkle and dermal filler treatments. Each client receives a meticulous assessment and consultation to ensure their results align with their goals.
Taking the bold step to build her own brand was outside her comfort zone, but she hasn’t looked back since.
What Sam loves most about her work is seeing the transformation in her clients. “I love my job because it doesn’t feel like a job,” Sam says. “I get to see my patients every day and get to know them. I also get to boost their confidence.”
