We are committed to advancing education and empowering our community of cosmetic professionals. That's why we were thrilled to co-host the Advanced Anatomy Workshop alongside Galderma, to provide accessible and comprehensive learning opportunities for our Fresh Nurses that go beyond the textbook. Medical aesthetics is a complex art that requires more than just technical skill - it demands a deep understanding of facial anatomy. Cosmetic nurses often don’t have access to observe real-time complication management or adverse events, nor explore the facial anatomy on a deeper level. Access to this education, particularly through cadaveric dissection, is also limited to cosmetic nurses due to factors such as cost, ethical considerations, and availability.
However, at Fresh Clinics, we know the value of education, which is why we prioritise investment in industry-leading training, and why we were committed to making this workshop accessible to all of our Fresh nurses - in return enhancing patient safety and care.
The workshop unfolded over two sessions, each filled with engaging presentations, interactive discussions, and hands-on learning experiences. Our Fresh Nurses had the opportunity to dive into the precise nature of human tissues and facial anatomy, gaining valuable insights into the human body's intricate structures.
Over 56 Fresh Nurses were in attendance, some traveling as far as Sydney, Canberra, and Perth. The turnout for the workshop was remarkable, showcasing the dedication of our nurses to deepen their education and improve clinical practice. Galderma's collaboration in investing in continuous learning and education within the industry demonstrates their commitment to supporting nurses in expanding their knowledge and skills, and we were thrilled to co-host this workshop with them.
